Brownstone Center for Wellness represents her goal of duplicating her efforts after years of working individually with patients to create improved outcomes in their mental health and overall in their quality of life. Her patients report growth and change due to her efforts to recognize the potential for all of us to grow and evolve beyond the limitations of our symptoms or mental health disorders. With a team of exceptional professionals, her goal is to create large scale social change related to mental health treatment and the reduction of internalized stigma related to mental health.

“For years, I tried to change myself to fit into a world that felt confusing, inconsistent, and overwhelming. When I realized that this approach caused me great pain and mental health challenges, I decided that it made more sense to do the work to accept myself and to change the world instead! I share the experience through my work with patients, my writing, and speaking opportunities to empower others. Helping patients to find their path through developing healthy habits, enhanced relationships, improvements in perspective, body image acceptance, and healing self-explorations is key to the Brownstone experience”– Dr. Deborah Brown
