Spravato® nasal spray is administered under the supervision of healthcare providers at our certified Spravato® treatment center. Your two hour appointments will also include a targeted psychotherapy session to address your specific needs and treatment goals.

The costs for Spravato® treatment and psychotherapy may be covered by your insurance. Depression that has not responded to other forms of treatment can make you eligible.

Are there exclusionary criteria?
Any person with a seizure disorder or aneurysmal disease cannot utilize this treatment. Those with addiction history are welcomed if they are in active
recovery. Patients with high blood pressure should have it under control before starting treatment.
Can children access this treatment?
Spravato® is currently approved for adults only.
Can I continue to take my antidepressant medication during treatment?
Yes, this is encouraged.
What insurance plans do you accept?
Most insurances, including Medicare and some Medicaid plans are accepted.
What’s my cost for treatment with insurance?
Your cost per visit is typically your mental health visit co-pay.
What if I am not ready, or I just want therapy?

Can I drive afterwards?
You will need a ride home, as the medication may have some lingering effects for the rest of the day. Including drowsiness.
Are there side effects during treatment?
Side effects can include sleepiness, sedation, dizziness, spinning sensation and dissociation during treatment. Dissociation manifests as feelings
of being disconnected from the self, and from space and time. Some patients can also experience nausea or increased blood pressure.
How do I need to prepare before treatment?
On the day of your treatment, you can’t eat or drink for two hours before your session or use any nasal sprays.
How do I get the medication?
The medication is secured and stored by the prescriber, and it is paid for through your pharmacy benefits on your insurance plan. Spravato® must be administered in the healthcare setting and patients are not allowed to be dispensed the medication to take with them.
Do I need to bring anything?
For your treatment sessions, we encourage you to wear what is comfortable for you, and if you want, you can bring along your favorite music and a comfy blanket.
